Terms of use

In short: Shwetopadma is a marketplace. Independent creators list, sell, take payment, deliver, and handle returns and refunds themselves. We don't sell anything, hold money or ship. We review every creator's shop, take complaints, and can pause or close shops that break our rules.

1. What Shwetopadma is

Shwetopadma ("we", "us") runs a website where independent creators show their products in their own shops and where members can discover, save and buy them. We are not a party to any sale. Each sale is a contract between the buyer and the creator alone.

2. Your account

• Give true details, and keep your password and sign-in codes to yourself. You're responsible for what's done from your account.
• You must be at least 18, or use Shwetopadma with a parent's or guardian's permission.
• We may refuse, pause or close an account that breaks these terms or our rules.

3. Buying

• The creator sets their prices, delivery charges, delivery times and their own return, exchange and refund policy. Read them before you order; checkout shows them.
• You pay the creator directly, by cash on delivery or to the creator's own bKash, Nagad, Rocket or bank account. Shwetopadma never receives, holds or passes on your money.
• Delivery, quality, returns, exchanges, refunds and warranties are the creator's responsibility, not ours.
• Handmade pieces can vary a little from their photos. That is not a fault unless the creator says otherwise.

4. Selling

Creators agree to these terms and to the Creator policy. A creator is the seller of every order they receive: they are responsible for their listings, for taking payment, for delivery, for keeping to their return and refund policy, for any taxes or licences their business needs, and for obeying the law of Bangladesh.

5. Complaints and what we do about them

If a creator doesn't deliver, sends something different from what they showed, or doesn't keep to their own policy, contact the creator first. If that doesn't work, write to us through Support within 30 days of the order. We will bring the creator into the conversation, look at the order, the messages and your evidence, and may warn the creator, add a strike, hide their listings, or pause or close their shop. We can't give refunds, make a creator give one, or pay compensation ourselves.

6. What you post

• You keep the rights to the photos and words you post, and allow us to show them on Shwetopadma and to use them when promoting it.
• Only post what you have the right to post. We remove content that breaks our rules or the law.

7. Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Shwetopadma safe and to check shops before they can sell, but we don't guarantee any product, shop or sale. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that come from a sale between a buyer and a creator, from a creator's actions, or from the site being briefly unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits rights the law doesn't allow us to limit.

8. Creators' responsibility to us

A creator agrees to cover Shwetopadma for any claim, cost or fine that comes from their products, their sales, or their breaking these terms or the law.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; important changes are announced on the site. These terms are governed by the law of Bangladesh. Questions: write to us through Support.
